Osteopathy is a manual therapy that focuses on the connection between the body's structure and its ability to function properly. It is a manual therapy that aims to treat the cause of the symptoms rather than reducing symptoms temporarily.

Osteopathic treatment includes joint mobilization and soft-tissue treatment in order to restore your body’s ability to self-heal and regulate. Your body functions as a unit, therefore a dysfunction in one area can affect the whole system. Each person can be impacted by a motion dysfunction differently. This is why your osteopathic treatment is individualized and specific to you.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners are functional anatomists who use manual therapy to restore proper body mechanics, nerve impulse, and circulation by removing motion restrictions where needed. Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner will apply various osteopathic techniques and principles to increase motion capacity and symmetry throughout your body.
